Gas prices affect everything since it has to be shipped. I do know what you mean about that light ply. Wont even hold a screw in it either, my eflite mustang has a lot of that crispy stuff. Have to soak it in CA.

Absolutely no bearing on the question at hand and all of this is speculation. Thumb through a few of Tower's past catalogs and you will see that even the kits have gone up. Top Flite 60 size kits have gone up $40-50 in the last year alone.
