I would like to know how hot a muffler gets while running the engine.

My Rossi has a minipipe muffler and I just don't trust the coilspring around the cylinder retention method. So, I took a piece of pushrod and made a small eyelet. I glued that into the fusalage. Then I took a nylon zip-tie and strapped the muffler down. Now I am wondering if the zip-tie will melt. Should I replace it with a radiator hose clamp? What do you think?
