other than forced induction to provide extra air the only other way is by way of power adders...ie, nitrous. the engine can only take in it's volume when just using atmospheric pressure to fill the cylinder...the only other way to cram more air in is either by a pressurizing it, cooling it big time thus making it more dense, or adding a free oxygen rich liguid or gas...a simple fan will do none of those
