very nice work Chris ! those panels should 3d print out no problem at all! there are not many compound curves, and all parts are flat or at 90 , so even on a micron scale, you should not have much stepping at all

Thanks Voy. You have any of those live screens at about 1/2 inch square?

Some of the finest detail is about .01 ''. Mainly the lines and recessed detail for switches and knobs. I even have some hex bolts that are about .03''. The 3d printing world has gone crazy. There are so many materials now and the resolution is crazy. I talked to a guy the other day that will be printing the first r/c turbine. He also was telling me that they have a carbon fiber material they can print with.

Chris, we have 20x14mm OLED screens that would be perfect. We can crop the screen out to 12x12mm with the content for the 1/2" displays. I have attached pics to this post .. note: that ruler is in mm

also, i agree, its amazing what can be printed! attached are two examples of small detail and hot it comes out from various materials.
