RE: Any Update on Ken White?
Just left hospital a little while. He has been in ICU for 25 days. His heart is doing great after the triple bypass and is not on any heart meds. But his kidneys and lungs have taken a pretty big hit. His kidneys have shut down and he can not breathe on his own. Has dialysis every day and has a breathing tube down his throat. He is sedated to the point where he is out of it all the time
Friday they are going to do a tracheostomy and put in a feeding tube in his abdomen. It's possible that he may never live at home again as he lives alone.
Until last week I was going to see him 2 or 3 times a day but have cut it back once a day. It's a 80 round trip to go to the hospital so my gas bill has jumped quite a bit.
He has two kids he hasn't seen in 30 years and has no idea where they are. Also has a bother in Vietman and can't get hold of him and has no other family.
I have all the legals papers including his medical directives. So his affairs are being taken care of.
