Yes there is a difference between thetwo but nothing worth noting for the intended task. The 1/8" thickness of the carbon sheet is the driver. Way overkill for the task, BTW. There's no reason to have that much thickness for a motor this small....Are you planning to remove most of the sheet? If yes, then 1/8" will be fine.
