I guess the new look of the RC Universe site is the reason I've been unable to post the last few days. I hope the new site works well for everyone, we will see. Ok, the top wing is finished, as are the ailerons. Not sure why the ailerons took so much time, but they did. For some reason, I love the look of the top wing and it's the ailerons that give it character. The fuselage side trusses are complete and I was very happy with the way they came out. Practically no sanding was required to make perfect matches out of them. I'm attaching the lite-ply doublers now. As I mentioned earlier, I'm using a DLE 30 for power. I've posted a couple of pics of the engine and firewall location. As WacoNut pointed out, the firewall has to be reworked to accommodate this engine. Not sure which way I'll go. I'll review WacoNut's technique before I decide.
