I put another flight on the Panther today. All three gear retracted this time. In inverted flight it didn't take much down to hold it level so the CG is pretty close. I flew it slow for a while with the flaps down. Nothing bad happened. I landed it on the first attempt . It touched down then floated up slightly and did a few hops to a stop. I cant believe a plane this weight is such a floater. Unfortunately the hops did a number on the nose strut again. It flew for 8 or 9 minutes with a minute of two of taxiing and landed with 40 or 50 ozs of fuel. Vladimir took the strut off the plane at the field and took it home to work on a solution. My flip camera locked up so I didn't get a video to post but a few guys filmed it with their phones, so there may be a video of the flight. I also
made a taxi tank out of a shampoo bottle. We burned through that in the pits playing with the trim and full throttle. Here is a pic Vladimir of the scale nose gear.
