Remember that I was having trouble with the landing gear.......no temper in the axels.......well that problem has been fixed. I visited my good friend Paul - you all know him, aka Horsepoweraviation - and he cut off the soft axel so we could weld on a good piece of music wire for the axels.

Larry was going to send me a new set of landing gear, but that would require that I make all new flying wires.......that seemed like a waste of resources and time, for both of us. So this was a good compromise - plus it gets the big Eindecker flight ready again - just in time for the Hoosier Dawn Patrol, too!

It may not be the prettiest fix, but it does look much better from the front than it does in these pictures.
