Hey Guys, new to this forum, I have just acquired a 1/4 scale hanger 9 J3 Cub, the price was right so i grabbed it, it needs a little work as it was stepped on, the engine firewall was broke off and the front window... as well the tail feathers were damaged but luckily the wings werent attached and the fusleage is easily repairable. What I am looking to do is convert this to the PA18. change the tail feather design so it has balance plates and also increase the size of the rudder to the pa18 size and add flaps to the wings. I would also like to change the engine cowl, so my question is, has anyone tried to retrofit the new hanger 9 piper PA18 super cub cowl to this plane? I would love to know if anyone else has done this conversion before either. CHeers guys!
