Programming 7C for quad servo wing configuration
Hello, I've been dreading this moment for months and it finally arrived...I’ve spent days researching the Futaba, RCU and Google websites trying to find somebody else with the same predicament I have… here is my current setup:
Futaba 7C transmitter with R617FS receiver (7channel).
6 Hitec HS-65MG Mighty Feather Metal Gear Micro Servos.
Hangar 9 Mini Ultra Stick w/ E-flite 480 outrunner and FlightPower 2500mAh 3S LiPo.
CC Thunderbird 54 ESC – I planned on using the internal BEC (rated for 3Amp)
Quad servo wing configuration (2 servos for aileron and 2 servos for flaps)
Channel 1 = Right Aileron?
Channel 2 = Elevator
Channel 3 = Throttle / ESC
Channel 4 = Rudder
Channel 5 = Left Aileron?
Channel 6 = Right Flap?
Channel 7 = Left Flap?
Along with the programming, I'm having a hard time placing the proper servo to the proper channel for this setup.
Here is my programming wish list:
I would like to program my low rate for L/R aileron with the ability to set flaps at 30%. Program my high rate for full wing deflection (L/R aileron – L/R flap synced in unison with 100% throw). Lastly, I would like to “crow”.
To summarize:
1. High Rate - L/R aileron and L/R flap working in unison (full deflection).
2. Low Rate - L/R aileron only (full deflection) with the ability to enable flaps down 30%.
3. Crow.
Is it possible to program my 7C for this configuration? Can I use the 3- position switch for High Rate/LowRate/Crow and use a different switch to set flaps down 30% while using my low rates?
I should be @ 2.4Amps maximum load for the servos. I will use my PowerMatch to verify real-time Amp load conditions once I get the setup programmed and operate all six micro servos simultaneously.
Any help is EXTREMELY appreciated!
Thank You, Clear Skies to All.
