Today was maiden day......
Balancing the plane required 24 oz of lead and on top of that, I added 6 oz more in the nose in order to try to avoid the tendency the Tucano has of flying tail heavy. I was told to add 12 oz more after balancing but I decided to go just with the 6 oz and everything is fine.
Control throws were programmed as factory suggested, but we found that the airplane didn't need as much. We decided to lower most of them and the plane was easier and nicer to handle.
The two flights were very nice, specially the second one after dialing the plane better. The only thing I need to do know, is to make sure the spinner and propeller are balanced, since we notice vibration and the turbine installation bolts were getting loose.
Two videos of the first flight.....
