ok, now i am officially back, re screws in shoulders, i'll take those 4 on offer earlier and up it to 6. for the record, i am now drug free (i think) and relocated in south east queensland. i am told that 3.5 hours for the reconstruction of my shoulder is some sort of a record at cairns base hospital, the usual time is about 1.5 hours for this sort of work. i moved from a low temp of 17 degrees to a low here of 2 degrees, but it is warming up. getting mobility back in the shoulder but can't drive until the end of october, amongst other things. i managed to acquire that arizona models avro 504 kit from my mate (a gift would you believe) which will get a saito radial. i also acquired a h9 fokker dv11 and have the new 82 for that and my flying mate down here is lusting after it so much the arf kit will make its way to his place next week for us to assemble. i have already been approached to check out a number of saito twins and see if they can be resurected, i'll be doing it on a 1 for them 1 for me basis and my mate will share in the work and spoils. been back i my old stampng grounds 5 days and already back in the swing of things. a bit of promotion, the gratton do (scale aero racing) is on again next year new improved format and lots of good prize money and goodies. we have 2 saitos already undergoing modification for the events. more later
