Finger tips are fine for me, every pilot has a difference requirement. I have flown the Hawk with a huge range, just you need to adjust how you land that first time knowing how the elevator feels. The Hawk I flew last week was the most extreme, ending up with 1lb of lead stuck to the tail fairing!

Balanced stabs are always good, but not needed on this aeroplane with quality servos (original thread starter has 8711 and still flying without an adjustment)
