I put the PA 18 cowl up to my J-3 and yes, it will fit perfectly. You will have to fabricate new mounting blocks. You are on your own if you are looking to match the paint. The closest commercially available color match is Parma yellow that I use on my rc cars. Prime the cowl in white, color with the Parma, and then clear coat to seal the finish.
