These are a couple of pictures of the painted cowl using Nelson Hobby paints. Not perfect, but the best I've ever done, and I'm pleased with the results. There were a couple spots where a little whiff of the blue got under the masking tape. The stencils were from Vikie at Getstencils.com, but were difficult to apply because of the curved surface of the bumps. She makes a good product, it's just a difficult spot to apply them. Before painting the blue, I brushed on a light coat of Polyu to seal the edges, which really helped. I'm trying to decide on color for the pin striping. Red, black or gold, any comments?

I had an old file with the full size Waco trim where the bumps needed to be modified to fit the cowl of Peter's third scale Waco. The rest of the files will probably need to be modified also. Then me know if you want them after they all have been modified to fit properly.
