hummmm... something might be a miss if the something is rubbing... i would recommend looking into that, i had painted discs and calipers and it never rubbed,,,
it might be worth looking into the HPI upgrade axles. that way when u screw on the wheel the screw is going into something thats metal not plastic.. and another good thing to get is some ballbearings for the drive line.
