Slow progress. Got upper wing center section located. Built per plan even though early on I was looking for a clean way to make the incidence variable. Final result was lower wing zero, upper minus two at root ribs.
Rigging wires do stiffen it up nicely. But the hardware in this kit is driving me nuts. Metric equiv of 2-56 screws (slot head) and nuts on the ends of rigging wires. I would have drilled turnbuckle eyes to accept 4-40 but they were too small. Earlier I pitched most of the metric hardwre and replaced with US mostly socket head. Wire rope is not plastic coated and started unraveling. Small details.
