I would think most planes in the 1000 square wing area should keep it in the air well, unless its some heavy plane or one that has to fly extremely fast.. I used to convert some 25cc engines, and they would work with a slightly smaller wing area. It all depends on what you want, and your skill/risk taking levels ! hahahahha

Personally I have a G38 with a gear reduction flying my HUGE 1/3 scale balsa USA Pup,so much fun !
