Is this on your Kyosho 50?
What landing gear are you using?
Maybe the retracts are too stiff and transfer the shock right into the retract mount. I love my robart oleos, Very forgiving and I fly off of grass as well.
I am using the e-flite 60-120 electric retracts on my Hangar 9 Spit.
My landings are far from perfect. :-( , but no problems after initial nose overs so far.
