I broke the big Eindecker at the Hoosier Dawn Patrol........a very high speed one wheel touch and go that hit a high spot on the runway and ramped it up in the air and then back down again on just one wheel.......ocuh!.......broke the axel off, flipped upside down, broke the rudder off, broke the fin, stripped an aileron servo gear, bent the cowl and busted the firewall extensions that the cowl mounts to.........WHEW!

Not to worry - got it repaired and just in time for the Mid Atlantic Dawn Patrol in Virginia Beach.

Also added some metal panels to the forward fuselage sides as well as the hatch.......a quick addition of parts......it will look ok up in the air but don't look too closely while its on the ground.

Oh, I almost forgot - the King post broke off and I replaced that, too.
