Default scale width for deck planking

I’m building a 1930’s cargo-passenger ship, 65” long, 10” beam (SS Shengking). What would be a scale width for deck planking? I was going to go with 3/16 width for mid deck with areas of 3/8 width on the fore deck, but I’m wondering if 1/8 and ¼ would be more appropriate.

How wide were typical deck planks in the 1930s?
