Yeah, back in the height of Classic Pattern. Usually for about $79 you got a brown box with some wire cut foam cores, a molded fuselage, a piece of plywood cut roughly to the shape of a firewall and a small rolled up piece of paper depicting a plan with some measurements on it. Ah, those were the days.
