I have a pretty fast machine running W98 that has my copy of ACAD 2000. It is behind the "ultimate firewall" (no connection to the internet, or any network other than temporary cabling to xfr large files) I intend to hold onto it and keep it running until it dies, or I do. Take that, Mr. Gates!
