When I looked at hobbyking they had two differant sets of instructions listed under the files.....one was not the correct one. one worked . Look under the differant sizes of the hobyking esc that look the same as yours. If you are Using futaba the throttle direction MUST be reversed to work with this esc as well as most others.... I had to change where my throttle trigger stopped to get mine to work right . I would try to set the esc up but then it would turn the motor on when I was not even touching the radio. I had to open up the radio and move the cam on the trigger to where it no longer stayed in the center when you let go but more to the bottom of the range. Like you would set the transmitter up for a gas motor. Try going in with the programming card and setting to forward only mode. The procedures are differant depending on if you use reverse or lock it out. The forward only is much simpler to set up. I have three esc's from hobbyking one being the turnigy 180 which is the best they have. They just cannot be beat for the price but none of them are as easy to use as My castle hydra .
