Default RE: Threads "Moved" - Moved to where????

Esten, are you not seeing the link in the first post along with the name of the forum a thread has been moved to? The link leads you right to the moved thread. This should not be causing any confusion.

Threads are moved into the most appropriate forum. If it's a problem or question regarding how RCU works, I move it to the Problems, Questions Using RCU forum. If it's a suggestion, it goes to the Suggestions forum. If it's a question about fixing an air leak on the carb of a OS 46fx it goes to the Glow Engines forum. This is done to keep RCU neat and orderly, and allow people to find the information they're looking for more easily.

With the old RCU it used to be that when a thread was moved there was no sign of it in the forum in which it originated. I'd PM the topic starter, but it usually wasn't feasible to PM all of the participants. As a moderator one of the features I really wanted was the ability to leave a trace in the original forum, so that the thread's participants could easily find it and continue discussing the subject. In my opinion that's far preferable to people having to search for it on their own or think that it was simply removed. The new RCU let's me leave a trace, and it really is very simple to see where a thread was sent and access it. What is the difficulty you're experiencing, specifically?
