where do they reside...bleedin Bedrock? and i guess Barney and Fred work there too....
synthetics have their polymer chains altered to suit the needs of the given application, no mineral oil can come close to the lubrication/resistance to breakdown that synthetics give...while mineral oils are more than adequate synthetics are superior, some current syntheticss can be mixed as lean as 100:1...try doing that with a regular oil!

I've run belray synthetic since i was a lad in many different 2 stroke applications and never had ring failure
