sorry i told you there wasn't an allen screw at the bottom. i didn't know that. i have only had my hawk for two weeks and don.t know everything about it yet. anyway you get the idea. if you can find a piece of piano wire that will fit that can work. even a tad smaller won't hurt if you can lock it with the set screw. i learned something also i didn't know. ..........thanks. the tail gears are set up the same way . they have a small set screw holding the pins in place that go through the gears........................RON
