I've been in electronics since I was 9 years old and found "The Boys First Book of Radio and Electronics" It had a 1 tube shortwave regenerative receiver built on breadboard. I've been involved with PC since Radio and Electronics published their first issue on computers. It had switches and lights on the front panel! Getting it to use a cassette tape recorder to store programs was a very big deal!

I like all aspects of this hobby from building to figuring out 2 stroke motors to covering and finally there is flying. I believe I like it so well because it has so many different disciplines. Basically it is how I let off steam after work. I needed something that was intellectually stimulating yet at the same time could be relaxing and I've found it in RC Airplanes. I'm hooked.
