I'll do that Sport Pilot. I had started this thread before finding your posts on the Fox .50 and contacting you. I'm really enjoying learning to fly pattern. I'm still in novice now, but I plan to move up to sportsman next year and hopefully win a contest. I don't know how it is where the rest of you guys fly, but novice is packed with expert pilots who are sandbagging in an attempt to get their names on the winner's list. It's the toughest division here in DFW with multiple pilots who don't get anything lower than a 9.5 on any of their maneuvers. Sportsman is where the competition really starts. So I flew novice this year because I was a true novice. I got 6's and 7's mostly with a few 8's throughout the contest. I'll work up the sportsman sequence over the winter (yay for 70 degree Texas winters!) and try to be ready to do as well or better there.
