My little boy is now 26 and making me a grandfather in February. He started racing RC trucks at 6 then I finally let him race boats at 12. He's still racing with me, driving my Rampage but has driven every boat of mine.
Your 3 year-old will be wanting a boat in a couple of years, I'm sure that you can find him something!
