I would have to agree. A better speaker would most likely change your opinion somewhat. Even though the new HL speaker is an upgrade to the original it is still a very poor choice for those looking for any sound clarity or definition. There are many good choices available today that can make your new system sound much better.
Also you are comparing the best system on the market to one that is a combination product or plug and play product. The Bennedinni is a stand alone system so it would and should sound much better. You can use the Benedinni with the Clark board i am told. This is the course I will be following.
