Hi Cub flyer fresno, Ace and the other contributors. Thanks for sharing such an excellent build journey. I am currently up to covering the Sig 1/4 scale CW cub as well.
Appologies for the the long winded questions below:
I am stumped in one area an could sure use to advice re the Fuse fillet at the tail and the tail group mounting:
The book says " Lap and adhere the fillet covering piece over onto the top side of the fin bottom rib and cut it off there. Then, after shrinking the fillet area tight, cover the top part of the fin with a separate piece."
** Is the strut they speak of the 1/2" Fin bottom beam or the 1st horizontal 1/4" strut approx 1/3rd way up?
I have covered the Horiz stab and elev silver and will be covering the Fin and fuse yellow
**Also when gluing down the Tail group does the Horiz stab just glue to the fairing top edges or should I glue in a horiz flat between the angled fairings to give more grab area? same re the fin and thin side fairings do they also just edge glue and abbutt the Fin?
