The canopy is held on with magnets. I do have 3 flights on the Tigercat and your right about how well it slows down and lands. The first flight I set the propellers at 12 pitch and had the engines a little rich.
I trimmed at 1/2 throttle and when done had a lot of altitude so I did a down line at about 45 degrees to lose some altitude. My friend said what are you doing a flutter test. When I got home I down loaded the telemetry and the gps said that it hit 152 mph on that down line. Nothing fluttered off and magnets healed the canopy on just fine. Since then I dropped the pitch to 10 and engines are much happier and it does about 120 mph in level flight.
