A usefull Tip
The other day I fitted the wing fences to my Mig 15 and they were an ok fit but could have been better. They are just glued on with 2 liltle cut outs. The result was a gap beneath them and the wing surface which I thought looked bad. A friend of mine gave me this tip which has resulted in an excellent finish.
I simply mixed my 5 min epoxy with a small amount of red paint and made a nice red epoxy fillet with masking tape. I used a small coffee stirrer you can pick up at Macdonalds etc. Mix the paint to one portion of the epoxy before you add the other hardener for example
The result is a very neat strong joint. Also the effect of the paint is to give you about 10 mins working time with the 5 min epoxy.
I thought this was a neat and very useful tip.
What other little tips have you got
