Its OK in the right places...but in flying models...pointless. Minimal everything is my way. I have seen quite a few people buy models because they fly so well....then add lots of little brackets and multiple festo connections...all of which weigh "nothing" (in the mind of the people) lots of nothing is a considerable something! People put joints in tubes, so disassembly is easy. Mmm if you really must, cut the tube and then add a joint after.
