As I understand it (and I'm fairly new here too) increasing left stick (mode 2) increases motor speed, or (in idle up) increases rotor pitch, both giving extra lift, so the swashplate should rise parallel to the ground / axis of the heli. The right stick would alter the rotor, tipping it down at front / up at back for forward flight, etc., Maybe the 4in1 (or does yours have a 3in1 + gyro?) is damaged. I put a 10A fuse in the feed from battery to 4in1 on mine, and that has blown several times in crashes, so i guess it has protected both 4in1 and the two motors (!) - I did blow a 4in1 before I installed that.
