RE: PROPELLERS
George: Why would you want an old Grish 20 x 8 prop? When I first offered the Quadra 35 engine to the USA marketplace, there were no props, and Grish was the first to come up with something useable. They made 18 x 8, 18 x 10, and 20 x 8 sizes in a rough cut blank, where all the edges were square. You had to complete the prop from there, round, sand, balance and finish to your liking.
After a couple of years, Zinger jumped on the bandwagon with finished props, and if I'm not mistaken, Grish stopped making the big wooden blanks at that time. That would be about 1979.
I still have the very first Grish 20 x 8 prop that went on my Bristol Scout in 1977, but it is not for sale. It's unlikely that you will ever find another.
