Rumors of my death of only been slightly exaggerated...
Holy Cow, how RC Universe has changed!

Chuck-
Glad to read about your exploits, sorry to see so many crashes.

Scott-
Burnt skewers just add to the flavor!

Ivan-
Sorry to read about your losses (damn!). House sounds like it's coming along.

phD-
Keeping it cool!

Between working on RoboSub, then catching up on everything that I put off around the house because of RoboSub, then the end of the Fiscal Year, then the possible lab shutdown (I was really looking forward to a forced vacation, Congress can't even do that right! ) I've had little time for anything else (need to reset my priorities).

I haven't forgotten about you'all, and as a matter of fact, every couple of days I would think, "Man, I need to jump on the forum!". And then I think that again after another couple of days had gone by.

Even though I haven't physically flown in a while, I have mentally. I've been devouring the Flite Test videos on youTube, I've almost watched 'em all. Been using ChromeCast to cast youTube up onto my HD TV in the mornings. It's really nice. They have a lot of foamy designs, the plans are free to download, or you can buy their laser cut foam. To celebrate their +100,000 subscriptions, they are having a 15% off sale @ their store this month. http://shop.flitetest.com/

I'm going to get the Bat Bone tricopter and finally get into FPV. It's a nice fold-able design.

Take care all, and while I won't be less strange, I will be less of a stranger
