Default Elevator / Rudder

I have the rudder and elevator glued up. I will be installing Robart hinge points on all control surfaces (http://airfieldmodels.com/informatio...ints/index.htm) I had to add some balsa to the elevator to accept the hinge points. Final sanding will occur after the control surfaces have been hinged, although the hinge points will be removed and reinstalled on final assembly, after finishing.

Generally, I build the model to completion, radio gear, push-rods - everything possible PRIOR to covering and finishing. I will next start on the wing set up

Missile - I ordered wood from National Balsa. They sell landing gear block and I will probably be using Sullivan hardware for the gear. Mains need to be bent from 5/32 stock. I use a tubing bender for that purpose.
