I have ripped my landing gear out a couple of times on some weak landings that went wrong. I ended up bracing the insides around the landing gear and installing 1/4 blind nuts and use nylon bolts with notches cut in them (used dremel to put small break points). I can land all day with no problems now, but if I hit hard, the landing gear comes out and no damage to the plane. I have tried several things (even installed aluminum braces) and the nylon bolts work!
