JR uses radial bearings in all of their 30 size Heli's. I have assembeled 4 JR helis for guys in the club and not one of them has had a bearing failure yet. While I would be the first to agree that Thrust bearings are superior, and use them in my helicopters its not something that is necessary to upgrade right away. JR kits go togeather very well, are easy to maintain, have excellent instructions, and great customer support. If I wasn't soo deep into X CELL Heli's right now I would have a JR chopper.
