Well I received my Venture a few days ago. As it happens I have all kinds of Ergo parts laying around and I use one, I used the aluminum engine mount. It fit perfectly and is identical in size and screw holes to the plastic one that came with the heli. I also found that the metal fan and hub from an Ergo 46 fit perfectly into the heli. The only problem was with the fan and hub from the Ergo 46 the clutch would not go up into the bell far enough. It's about 2-3mm short, with some type of spacer on the OS32 shaft it would have worked perfectly, or, if I just used the OS 46 engine it would have worked perfectly. I did not get a chance to fly the beast, I have it fully assembled but I can't seem to get the radio set up correctly. The for and aft elevator is back wards but all other functions are correct, so, if I reverse the servo all functions go south, I'm either overlooking something simple ( I hope thats the case ) or ???? I'm using a Hitec Eclipse 7 radio and am going to contact them with my question. Hopefully I'll have a flying report soon.
