In my attempt to keep this airplane as light as possible and therfore avoid having to put weight in the nose as others have advised I am contemplating mounting the ignition module for the DLE 20RAs on the side of the motor mounts. I have done so in the past with larger birds by using 1/2" foam and velcroed them on the engine box next to the firewall. On the F7F I would mount them in the same fashion however the only place where they will fit is as I described and the module will be approx. 2"-3" from the side of the muffler. Your thoughts.
