I believe those pics are the PA-39 Turbo version. The model is is actually a PA-30 with tanks added. Note the extra window, and cowl air inlets in your pics. From what I have been able to figure out in my research, the PA-30 had 2 side windows, and tip tanks were seldom used. The PA-30B had the extra row seats and thus extra window, and usually, but not always had tip tanks. The original PA-30 had a slightly different tip, that has a rounded cross-section, and tapers back to the aileron. Either tip would be correct on this model I think. BTW, I have the Stafford kit, partially built and was comparing this ARF to the Stafford plan. They are very close.
