Hey guys, I just did some "checkbook modeling" and purchased an old Proctor 1/3 Waco from a gentleman in the Pacific North West. It's such a beautiful airplane I was wondering if any of you guys might know anything about the man who built it. I found a picture of what I am reasonably certain is the airplane I purchased on the Proctor website with the builder. Joe from Proctor only knows it's been on the site for several years. I suppose I'm just curious about the man that built it.
How do people like the Proctor Waco? I'm very excited to find such a beautiful model, and can tell by some of the pictures it was built with attention to detail in mind. It outlived it's builder, I hope I can honor his efforts by giving the model a new life.
