Default Motor and ESC Install

There has been some discussion on other threads regarding ESC Location and Battery lead length issues.
ESC: I am using the new Castle Link Edge Lite 100 and it fits perfectly through the Rib cutouts in the leading edge of the wing, and in front of the wheel well. The new ESC has an additional wire that can be used for a physical Arming Plug or can use an extra radio channel/Switch to Arm the Motors. Nice feature and eliminates adding an Arming Harness between the batteries and ESC, thus keeping the wire lengths as short as possible.

The ESC Battery Length does not require any extension but the Motor wire did requre about a 2 inch extension. My research has confirmed that the additional wire between the Motor and ESC is not a problem. Not so at the Battery connection. I plan on an oval inlet on the leading edge (in the propwash) and the wheel well provides plenty of exit air.
