In the Kit the Nose cone overlaps the Fuselage by about an inch and cheapened the look of an otherwise attractive model. I was somewhat apprehensive about this mod but decided it had to be done. With the Nose cone Taped on tightly I marked the edges around it on the fuselage using pieces of Masking tape, removed the nose cone and measured from the tape edge to the front of the bulkhead at several points (all were within a 1/16th of an inch). I transferred the marks to the nose cone and connected them with a line. Using a cutoff wheel on the rotary tool it cut easily. Actually I had to trim off an extra 1/16 inch around to make it fit nicely but it trims easily. The stripes lined up well before and after the cutting so no problem there. I attached another thin ply bulkhead with blocks attached for screwing the nose cone in place. Fits nice and snug.

Don
