I guess that explains alot, that was about my only complaint with my Savage. If I new Savages were so tough I would gotten rid of my maxxes long ago. I beat the hell out of my Savage everyday and it takes it like a champ. Nothing but good to say about it, it takes 10,15,even 20 foot jumps and keeps going.
