Thailazer, I agree with Tom. I think you can build a plane with a set of plans and the aforementioned parts commercially available. If there becomes a question about a template of a part, one of us with an intact kit can get a template to you, either by post or electronically.

By the way - My wife and I vacationed in Chiang Mai just a couple of weeks ago. We loved Thailand, and especially Chiang Mai! Wish I had known - I could have easily brought a set of plans to you.
